America’s Aging Workforce Ergonomics does not sell chairs, desks, tools, mats, braces, or vendor packages. The recommendation is for the employer and employee, not for a furniture catalog. Each visit also looks at older-worker accommodation, fatigue timing, job fit, and practical changes supervisors can actually implement.

Individual Employee Assessment
The visit includes direct observation of the employee’s normal task, workstation measurements, employee conversation, equipment notes, and practical adjustment trials when a simple change can be tested safely during the appointment. Reports usually arrive as a plain-language PDF with prioritized recommendations, vendor-neutral equipment notes, and photos marked up when photography is permitted.
Facility Audit
Martha walks the task sequence, asks about volume and staffing changes, notes recovery opportunities, and separates urgent exposures from improvements that can be folded into maintenance or purchasing cycles. Full-day audits include a priority risk matrix so safety and operations can decide what to fix first.
Training And Manager Coaching
Sessions cover awkward reach, fatigue signals, rotation that actually reduces exposure, chair and table adjustment, lifting conversations, documentation language, and how to respond when an experienced employee says, “I can do it, but not all day like this.” A take-home guide is included.
